A healthy disciple making movement is powered by a solid base of lay leaders. The Followers recognize that, if they are to reach their own culture with the Gospel, then they must personally be the ones who carry the baton. It requires them taking initiative and not waiting around for professional clergy to emerge or to do all the work.

Dear God, we plead with you to raise up a solid group of lay leaders for the Sylheti people, ones who passionately serve you without regard to pay, position, or title. May their service to you be a fragrant offering in your sight.

Acts 6:3. Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them.
